Jesus’ Faith vs Our Faith

Faith is always/only the result of hearing God’s Word, accepting God’s Word in the person’s heart and obeying the instruction of what spoken. Jesus in John 8:28-29, “When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am He, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And He that sent me is with me; the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please Him.” Jesus made only correct responses to all of His Father’s desires, and obeyed His Father’s Will in His perfect walk of Faith. Many times, in Bible studies, I have heard that we need to seek for the “the Faith of God” or “the Faith of Jesus,” or “the Faith of the Son of God,” which sounds as if it would be superior and much better than our Faith if it were available. But that is not the case, Jesus lived by His hearing, accepting, obeying God’s Word (His Father) to Faith, and we must live by our Faith, hearing, accepting and obeying God’s specific Word to each of us personally,

Eph 2:8, “For by Grace are ye saved through Faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” Our Faith comes from our hearing, accepting God’s Word that we are sinners, our acceptance that we must humble ourselves call out to Jesus, ask forgiveness and invite His Spirit, Christ, the Living Word, into our hearts. Only then will God/Jesus respond by sending His Words of Faith, the Spirit of Christ, into our hearts to perform the work of Grace to create our new hearts and live in our new heart at salvation. Heb 4:2 states what will happen if you hear God and reject receiving His Words of the gospel salvation into your heart, “For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with Faith in them that heard it.” They didn’t humble themselves, ask forgiveness and invite God’s Spirit, His Word, into their hearts, we must all personally do that to receive His Spirit into our heart, He won’t come in uninvited. Paul says in 2 Thessalonians 2:10, “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; BECAUSE they received not the Love(Spirit of the Living Word) of the truth(God’s Word), that they might be saved.” We each must choose to accept/reject God’s Word to life or death. Hebrews 11:6 … It is impossible to please God without Faith, for we cannot please God by rejecting His Word, He and His Word are the same. Also, changing His Word in any way is rejecting His Word.

Paul in Romans 5:1-2, “Therefore being justified by Faith (our Faith). We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by Faith( our Faith) into this Grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” As above, when we accept, receive and obey God’s Word TO Faith, His Living Words that we receive into our hearts perform the work of Grace in us to fulfill His desires in or through our hearts to others (Charity). In Ephesians 6:16, our acceptance of God’s Words in our hearts to Faith is our shield of Faith to quench ALL the fiery darts of the wicked. We inherit God’s Great Precious promises by our Faith, accepting and obeying them, Gal 3:9, Heb 6:12, 18. Our victory over the world of problems is through our Faith, acceptance and obedience to God’s Word, 1 John 5:4. People who reject God’s Word do not have Faith, Deut 32:20, Mark 4:40, 2 Thess 3:2, and Romans 12:3 is talking about Christians when it says that all men have a measure of Faith, and all Christians must have at least the initial measure of Faith to receive Grace for salvation. Then we must live by Faith in our daily decisions, Rom 1:17, Rom 2:13, Gal 3:11, Hab 2:4, Heb 10:38 because Romans 14:23 states that everything not of Faith is sin! Faith is not a commodity that you can place here and there, you can only accept, receive and obey God’s Word to faith. Preachers who say, “Place your Faith in God,” do not know what Faith is. Also, saying you can place your Faith in things of the world is incorrect because God would never speak to you to do that. Faith only comes from hearing, accepting and obeying God, all else is confidence, trust, hope , or wishful thinking, but not Faith. Faith never fails because Faith is based on God’s Word.

Jesus lived by His Faith, accepting and obeying His Father, we must live by OUR Faith, accepting and obeying our Father, and we will have the same Faith Jesus did.
