Jesus speaks of a lord or master praising one of his servants below.

Matthew 25:23, (KJV), “His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
Jesus then speaks of what the master said to the servant who had fewer talents and did not use them!
Matthew 25:30,(KJV), “And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Although the Jews or Israelites were often called “Children of Israel” or “Children of God,” they had a servant type relationship with God in the Old Testament period and were also referred to as servants of the Most High God. As Christians, we are Children of God, as stated in Galatians 4:6-7, “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Daddy, Father) (7) Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” (Christ the Living Word of God in our hearts.)

When we ask forgiveness and invite the Spirit of Christ into our hearts and are then changed to a new creature with the new clean heart and the Spirit of Christ in our hearts, we become children of God and the transformation process is called the work of Grace for salvation. This work of Grace, which is all the Spiritual actions that are required to forgive us, create in us new totally clean hearts and move us into the family of God as His children, is also said that we were being born again by the Spirit of God into the family of God. This all takes place the instant the Spirit of Christ comes into our heart, as stated by Romans 8:9, “…Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.”

2 Corinthians 6:1, (KJV), “We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.” The Apostle Paul is saying to us as children of God who have received the forgiveness of our sins, and the great work of Grace to change us from creatures without the Spirit of God into new creatures with the Spirit of God in us to make us His Children, that we should not let the great work of Grace imparted to us be in vain or to no affect to others! We must share with others to be faithful children or God!

Proverbs 11:30, (KJV), “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” Have you received the forgiveness and great Grace of God into your heart in VAIN? Or, how many people have you personally witnessed to that are standing now as Trees of Life because you shared your experience of receiving Grace and prayed with them for salvation?
The greatest two evils in Christianity is failing to seek God’s Pure Word and failing to seek God’s special holy calling for your life!

First, you cannot have faith without God’s Pure Word, Christ. God only backs up His Pure Word Christ, so we must have His Pure Word to have faith that God will back up!
Proverbs 30:5-6, (KJV), “Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.(6)Add thou not unto His words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” You will see from my broadcasts that we have a lot of liars in Christianity that are not sharing God’s Pure Word!
We cannot please God except through accepting His Pure Word to faith as stated below.
Hebrews 11:6, (KJV), “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”

Secondly, you will never find God’s Holy Calling for your life unless you set yourself to seek the Lord.
2 Timothy 1:9, (KJV), “Who(God) hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,…” We each have a special Holy Calling!! It is evil to not seek our Holy Calling!
2 Chronicles 12:14, (KJV), “And he (Rehoboam) did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.”

If you are a Christian and are not seeking God’s Pure Word and His Holy Calling for your life, you have received the great forgiveness and Grace of God for your salvation in VAIN!
That doesn’t mean you are going to lose your salvation, but that you will have very few works to present to Jesus as stated below:
1 Corinthians 3:12-15, (KJV), “Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
(13) Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
(14) If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
(15) If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”

With most of your works burned away, I have no idea what will be the Lords response, but I would not want any of you reading this to ignore it and say, “At least I will be in heaven” because the writer of Hebrews refers to this subject below writing to Christians:
Hebrews 2:1-3, (KJV), “Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. (2) For if the Word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; (3) How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard Him,…”
It is never too late, now is the time for you to set yourself to seek God’s Pure Word and His Holy Calling that He has chosen for you! It will be the greatest path you can take!
