Milestones in Ministry

This week two milestones have been reached: 17,000 “hits” on my programs, and 700 programs since 7 Dec 14. The hits do not mean that many people actually listened, they may have clicked in and then clicked back out since most people do not like to talk about or read about “religious” beliefs. The program started out on Sunday mornings 6-8am, but I couldn’t stand waiting a week for the next one, so the owners let me have MWF 7-8am. That was a little confusing on keeping up with the days off and on, so they let me just take every morning. Some of you may have noticed that my programs are replays lately. One main reason for that is I have been speaking and showing Scriptures that are being misused, misquoted, and sometimes taught completely opposite in our Christian Community. You ask or wonder how that could be, I do too! When I became a Christian, received the Spirit of Christ into my heart in 1974, I started searching the Scriptures for almost everything. Such a change had taken place in me, it was fantastic and I couldn’t tell enough people. As I started listening to all the gospel radio programs I could find and reading books, when Scriptures were given I would get excited and look them up! I started seeing that the written Scriptures many times did not say what the writers or speakers had said that the Scriptures said. I found that with all the different “denominations”, and groups in our Christian Community all teaching from the same “Bibles” and many versions, but coming up with many times opposite beliefs, (speaking of tongues is of the devil or speaking of tongues is the greatest thing there is) I had to start searching out these many different areas. My programs and my 6 books are the result of the many serious errors that I have found that you need to be aware of to be able to receive God’s Pure Word for yourself, which is only what He will back up. It is so SERIOUS because many denominational errors are so anti-Christ that belief in them will cause the members to miss heaven, and the other alternative is not where you want to be. Just because a denomination mentions Jesus does not mean they have the right teachings for salvation like Jesus says in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? (23)And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” If there will be any tears in heaven, it will be Jesus having to tell these “Church going Christians that they did not receive Him into their hearts.” I was in church from 9 yrs old at a Bapt Childrens Home in Mphs, Tn. went to church every Sunday, Wednesday, and 10 days for Spring and Fall revivals, for 9 yrs, got baptized the first day I went out there so I would be a “christian,” but I found our at age 33 all that religious activity I had been involved in was as Jesus said above, “works of iniquity” He was not in my heart. Your greatest task here on Earth is to find our your correct relationship with God which is not being taught very clearly in our society by any denomination or group. You are going to have to set yourself to see God personally. Start asking Him questions that you know only He could answer if He is a God and wants a personal relationship with you. Give Him an opportunity to teach you about Himself. Jesus says we must all be taught by God to come to Him (Jesus) Well, I can’t repeat all that my programs cover but if you have not been listening to them, try some out. I am not trying to make money off the gospel, but I do have 6 books which are very low cost, 5 are about $7 and the other is $10. Have a good day!

Daily Struggle With Walking By Faith

Things come against or into our lives daily that cause us to wonder where is God. One of the troublesome area is with our health. I was told in April by a heart doctor that a valve in my heart was leaking so bad I need to have something done immediately. He sent me to a specialist valve doctor. There were about six weeks wait since the paperwork got messed up. During that time, I started climbing stairs each day to strengthen my heart since it is a muscle. I worked up to 600 steps a day before I saw the specialist. My heart had improved to where the specialist heart doctor told me that it was too risky to do two of the heart tests that were scheduled and that I should just go home and come back next year. My heart had improved that much in about a month of climbing stairs and watching my eating that the tests were more dangerous than the condition of my heart. He told me to go home and come back next year! Thank you Lord Jesus! Well in the glee, a few days later I was still taking light doses of blood pressure meds and mixed them with a few vitamins pills from health food center. Evidently, the combination had some side effects of vertigo and when I was in a hurry one Sat morning, I took them all at the same time. OOPS! About an hour later I was vomiting and my stomach was burning me up. I went to ER and the calmed it down but I could barely walk. I was like a drunk without having drank anything. For a couple days I bounced down the halls in my house from side to side. I continued to work out, added some balance exercises and have reduced the effects from about a 10 down to about a 1, still working on them. I have lost about 12 lbs, blood pressure down the 120s or low 130s.
My problem. I know all sicknesses are from the devil. Look in Deut 28, there are no sicknesses on the Blessing side, all sicknesses are on the curses side. We are supposed to have a shield of faith in Ephesians 6:16 to shield us from ALL the fiery darts of the devil. Therefore, I must have some or a big hole in my shield. How do we get holes in our shield?? In 2 Corinthians 2:10-11 the Scripture states that if we fail to forgive others we will be giving satan advantage in our lives. Also, the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:12, “And forgive us our debts, AS we forgive out debtors.” First Peter 3:7 says husbands to treat wives as joint heirs of the grace of life that your prayers be not hindered. Many problems we face are due to our failing to obey Scriptures. Pray for me, I’ll pray for you.

Prayer, Exercise, Eating Better and Health Supplements from a ” Concerned Daughter.”

There has been a lot of ups and downs lately which I’m sure you’ll experience often too. After lifting weights (250 lbs bench press age 73) in the gym a few yrs ago my family Doc said he heard some leakage from one of my heart valves. He recommended I go see a Heart Doc at the local Heart Hosp. The Doc ran tests and said come back next year. That went on for a couple years until April 12th this year. He said it had become serious and that I should see a valve specialist for treatment with one option being open heart operation. Like King Hezekiah in 2 Kings 20:1-11 when God said, “Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live,” I didn’t like the idea of an operation either. Being an engineer, I decided to include walking up and down four flights of stairs that lead to our gym each day to strengthen the “flapper muscle.” The heart is or is like a big muscle and there must be some part of it that causes the continuous opening and closing of the valve. I increased to 10 sets of the four flights, or 580 steps daily until my appt with the specialist on May 18th. I was scheduled for 8 tests that day: breathing, EKG, Echo and several others which included a camera into the heart from up through the groin and one through my nose down to the heart. Well, when they finished the first 6 easy tests the Doc came in and said I was too healthy to take the other two tests to view the heart. He said my heart was working so good that taking the two camera tests were more dangerous than the condition of my heart. He told me there would be no cost for the first 6 tests, gave my wife and me a free lunch and sent me home. My valve is still leaking a little but not anything like it was when the first Doctor saw me. My prayer was answered because I had been praying that when I got there the Doc would say that I was too healthy and or didn’t need the surgery and God helped me do it. So as the Scripture says in Philippians 4:6, “Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Don’t wait like a lot of people who finally say, “Well, all we can do now is pray.” Let what causes you to start becoming anxious be your trigger to immediately set your self to prayer like King Hezekiah did in 2 Kings 20:1-11 and King Jehoshaphat did in 2 Chronicles 20:1-26. PS: In 1987 when a Doc said on the phone, “Mr Hardin you have melanoma cancer,” the Lord took care of that too without even one treatment.

Pls Forgive Me

The past month has been very busy! Two cars in shop, one had to be hauled in. Two computers broke down, crashed. Had to confiscate my wife’s. Wife in and out of hospital. Few others that I can’t remember now. BUT, 1. How do we look at it? Easy to say when you are working for God the devil is going to hit you with all he has. That way you (I) can feel a little good knowing Jesus said we should expect problems, but in His ministry He seemed to overcome the problems on the spot, except the walk to the cross. 2. The second way to look at it is probably more real, like I say on most of my broadcasts, when we violate any of God’s Laws, we give satan the advantage in our lives until we get it straighten out with God. Examples: Since Ephesians 6:16 says we have a shield of faith to quench ALL the fiery darts of the wicked, and 1 John 5:7 says that our faith overcomes the world(satan), then I must have some holes in my shield of faith that is allowing satan’s darts to get through. Second Corinthians 2:10-11 says to forgive others lest you give satan the advantage…(in your life). First Peter 3:7 states that the way we treat our wives (and all other people too) can cause our prayers to be hindered, which causes us to be out of fellowship with God and satan has the advantage in our lives. And there are hundreds of examples like that through the Bible, but one more very important one is mentioned in 2 Chronicles 12:14 where the Scripture states Rehoboam (Solomon’s son) did evil because he prepared not his heart to seek the Lord! A lot of times we make decisions without seeking God and it is evil! So if you would like to help, pray for me in all these areas! Also, go to my website and buy some of my cheap (low-cost $7) books and help me get God’s Word out. I am not here to sell books, but to get the messages out that is in them. You’ll see what I mean if you read one. Well, pray for me to get the new computer set up and running, but most of all that I get any of those holes closed up in my shield of faith. I don’t like those fiery darts!

WELL DONE, THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT/CHILD

WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT/CHILD
Jesus speaks of a lord or master praising one of his servants below.

Matthew 25:23, (KJV), “His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
Jesus then speaks of what the master said to the servant who had fewer talents and did not use them!
Matthew 25:30,(KJV), “And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Although the Jews or Israelites were often called “Children of Israel” or “Children of God,” they had a servant type relationship with God in the Old Testament period and were also referred to as servants of the Most High God. As Christians, we are Children of God, as stated in Galatians 4:6-7, “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Daddy, Father) (7) Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” (Christ the Living Word of God in our hearts.)

When we ask forgiveness and invite the Spirit of Christ into our hearts and are then changed to a new creature with the new clean heart and the Spirit of Christ in our hearts, we become children of God and the transformation process is called the work of Grace for salvation. This work of Grace, which is all the Spiritual actions that are required to forgive us, create in us new totally clean hearts and move us into the family of God as His children, is also said that we were being born again by the Spirit of God into the family of God. This all takes place the instant the Spirit of Christ comes into our heart, as stated by Romans 8:9, “…Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.”

2 Corinthians 6:1, (KJV), “We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.” The Apostle Paul is saying to us as children of God who have received the forgiveness of our sins, and the great work of Grace to change us from creatures without the Spirit of God into new creatures with the Spirit of God in us to make us His Children, that we should not let the great work of Grace imparted to us be in vain or to no affect to others! We must share with others to be faithful children or God!

Proverbs 11:30, (KJV), “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” Have you received the forgiveness and great Grace of God into your heart in VAIN? Or, how many people have you personally witnessed to that are standing now as Trees of Life because you shared your experience of receiving Grace and prayed with them for salvation?
The greatest two evils in Christianity is failing to seek God’s Pure Word and failing to seek God’s special holy calling for your life!

First, you cannot have faith without God’s Pure Word, Christ. God only backs up His Pure Word Christ, so we must have His Pure Word to have faith that God will back up!
Proverbs 30:5-6, (KJV), “Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.(6)Add thou not unto His words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” You will see from my broadcasts that we have a lot of liars in Christianity that are not sharing God’s Pure Word!
We cannot please God except through accepting His Pure Word to faith as stated below.
Hebrews 11:6, (KJV), “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”

Secondly, you will never find God’s Holy Calling for your life unless you set yourself to seek the Lord.
2 Timothy 1:9, (KJV), “Who(God) hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,…” We each have a special Holy Calling!! It is evil to not seek our Holy Calling!
2 Chronicles 12:14, (KJV), “And he (Rehoboam) did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.”

If you are a Christian and are not seeking God’s Pure Word and His Holy Calling for your life, you have received the great forgiveness and Grace of God for your salvation in VAIN!
That doesn’t mean you are going to lose your salvation, but that you will have very few works to present to Jesus as stated below:
1 Corinthians 3:12-15, (KJV), “Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
(13) Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
(14) If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
(15) If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”

With most of your works burned away, I have no idea what will be the Lords response, but I would not want any of you reading this to ignore it and say, “At least I will be in heaven” because the writer of Hebrews refers to this subject below writing to Christians:
Hebrews 2:1-3, (KJV), “Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. (2) For if the Word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; (3) How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard Him,…”
It is never too late, now is the time for you to set yourself to seek God’s Pure Word and His Holy Calling that He has chosen for you! It will be the greatest path you can take!

Born Again

In John 3:3,5, Jesus says, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” and “…Except a man be born of water, and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” We are born of water from our mothers, but we must be born of the Spirit of God by our choice to invite and receive Him (Christ-God’s Living Word) into our hearts. When we are born on earth we do not have any Spirit of God in us, our hearts are totally void of God and that is called total sin. Sin is the separation of our hearts from God. As we grow up and God brings us to the knowledge of our sin and our need of inviting Him into our hearts, we must personally choose to receive or reject Him and His Word to us. If we invite Him and receive Him into our hearts, He will forgive our sins, come into our hearts and create in us a new heart and put His Spirit in us to make us one of His children. God didn’t like the relationship He had with mankind in the Old Testament so He spoke of the new relationship He was going to make in Ezekiel 36:26 “A new heart also will I give you, and a new Spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. (27) And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.”
When you invite the Spirit of Christ into your heart, He comes in creates the new (born again) heart and He now lives in you and you are a child of God with the new, clean, perfect heart at that time. Galatians 4:6-7 states, “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son (Christ) into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father (daddy, Father). Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ (being in your heart).” Then Romans 8:9 states, “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.” SO, have you been taught by God that you are a sinner, then cried out to God, ask His forgiveness and invited Him to come live in your heart and be born into His family? You must be born again!– of the Spirit! You can do it now or if you want more info watch my videos and listen to my past programs on Faith and Grace! Contact me if you desire.

Anxiety Deliverance to Peace

Anxiety is a feeling of worry, nervousness, uneasiness, about an upcoming event, present circumstances, or something with an uncertain outcome or a nervous disorder characterized by a state of excessive uneasiness and apprehension, often with compulsive behavior or panic attacks. WOW! That sounds bad—and it is! Opens the door for fear!

People are anxious about uncommon situations they are presently facing or the possibility of certain future circumstances that they are very fearful of such as, flying, being on boats, traveling in foreign lands, having bad health, retiring, and many, many more. If you look up in a dictionary the word, phobias, the excessive and irrational fears of people, you will find hundreds of them that you would probably never imagined. The devil will cause people to even fear their shadows!
We all know that change is one of the only constants in the universe and in our lives. Change is taking place every day in our lives even when we feel like we have control. There is always the potential for accidents, medical expenses, loss of job, death in the family, etc.
The better we can understand the causes of our problems, the better we will be able to solve our problems. So, let’s look at a different or simpler definition or description of how anxiety actually causes all of these feelings which result in us becoming so anxious! ***Anxiety is not caused by a situation or event, it is caused by how each of us evaluate or analyze and start responding to the circumstances. Anxiety results when we evaluate, diagnose, or analyze any present or possible future circumstances and leave God out! So TURN to God immediately when you catch yourself thinking thoughts that start stirring you up in any negative way about anything, such as flying, confrontations, job concerns, weather, family or relationships.

The Apostle Paul was whipped with 39 stripes several times, had to be let out of a high floor through a window in a basket to escape his enemies, was stoned and left out of the a city for dead, but he was up on his way the next morning to preach Christ Jesus to another city. Paul tells how he controls his mind in 2 Corinthians 10:5, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” Now, that assumes that a person using this scripture as a guide would have studied enough to have the “knowledge of God” in his mind and heart. We must have God’s Pure Word, Christ, in us to properly evaluate the many different circumstances of life that we become faced with.

Look at what the Apostle Peter says about the importance of us having knowledge of God, His Word, and Jesus in 2 Peter 1:2-4,(KJV) “ Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,(3) According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue: (4) Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” We must study His great and precious promises that by these we will know what God will do in protecting and delivering us in troublesome times. We gain the victory through accepting and obeying God’s Promises, 1 John 5:4 “…and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

Philippians 4:6 (KJV), “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Immediately, when you catch yourself being concerned, anxious in any situation in your daily life, take it to the Lord in prayer—just talk to Him about it. Don’t wait until you have tried and tried to complete it, decide what to do, even tried several ways or several doctors —-take it to the Lord first! What do you have to lose talking with Him first?? Nothing! But you have a lot to lose if you try to handle everything yourself or just go by the doctor’ or your friend’s advice! Situations concerning you that you have not prayed, talked to the Lord about, are probably controlled by the devil, unless God in His mercy steps in. Don’t wait for that, invite God into your circumstances as soon as you recognize them.

I found out when my doctor called that I had cancer in 1987. When I got off the phone, I went into my den and got on my knees at my couch and prayed. Within about five minutes I had God’s word to me that He had a lot more work for me to do like I am doing today. All of my anxiety, doubt, concern about cancer and death was COMPLETELY gone during that five minutes. I am not making that up, because God knows what I am saying now. He removed it all from me! Through some circumstances of needing to remove all the cancer from my arm, I was sent to a “very” good doctor downtown. He of all things decided to take a vacation a couple days before he was supposed to operate on my arm. I had already received God’s answer to not be concerned about the outcome, so I called the cancer center of a local hospital and ask if one of their doctors would be available in the next few days to complete the operation. I hooked up with one and as soon as I stepped into his office, he said, “Young man, lets pray!” I knew I was where God wanted me. He cut all around where the cancer was and I have not had a treatment of any kind since. Now, I told a friend about the doctor saying lets pray first, and my friend said, “Oh my God! Was it that bad?” I couldn’t help from laughing, but said, “No. You don’t just wait until there is nothing else to do, we need to pray first.”

Why I am telling you this is, when you get the first word or thoughts of any action, circumstance that might cause you concern—right then take it to the Lord in pray. Talk to God about it as I did and the people in the stories below did! Read the stories below of how people responded to God in time of trouble.
2 Kings:20:1-11, King Hezekiah-immediately when told he was going to die turned over in his bed and prayed, talked with God.
2 Chronicles 20:1-26, King Jehoshaphat- when told he was surrounded by three armies, immediately set himself to seek the Lord by praying and fasting.
Esther 4:15-17, Queen Esther – when told that the King had been tricked into signing a decree to kill all the Jews turned to the Lord in praying and fasting. She confessed, “…if I perish, I perish.” And then went illegally before the King to let him know what happened.
Proverbs 3:25-26, “Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. (26) for the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.” You have got to know His Great Precious Promises that Jesus died to share with us. There are coming situations in your life when the outcome will be totally between you and God! Get prepared now, don’t get caught putting it off.

Mercy, Grace, and Charity are not Love!

Mercy, Grace and Charity are not Love.  Love is defined, stated or given in 1 John 4:8, 16 as being God, “God is Love.” Therefore, there is no such thing as any other Love.  That would be saying there are other Gods.  Eros and philos are not love: they are strong physical attractions and strong emotional attractions.  Also, teaching that agape is the God kind of Love is incorrect too because there is not God “kind” of Love, all Love is God, God is Love.

Now why is mercy, grace and charity not Love?  Take for example the water throughout your house.  Your house is connected to the main city, county water line for your community.  The main water line to your house has one connection to the main city line where you get all of your water.  The plumbers separate the water and pipe some to the kitchen, some to outside connections for use in the yard, some water is piped to commodes, sinks, showers, all the water is the same.  You refer to shower water to indicate to the plumber where you are having a problem, the commode water to indicate its use, kitchen water to indicate its use and so on.  All the water is the same, the different names only indicate where or how the water is being used in different places.   Likewise, mercy, grace and charity are not different loves of God, they are all the same God, the same Love, but the names identify or explain how God or His Love or His Spirit, all the same God are coming to us and working our lives.  It is that simple.

Mercy is God coming upon us, around us as stated in the Old Testament Covenant in Isaiah 59:21, “…this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; ‘My Spirit that is upon thee, and My Words which I have put in thy mouth, …”  and in Psalms 25:10, “All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and His testimonies” (Truth is God’s Word, John 17: 17) All the paths to us and upon people of the Old Testament were mercy.  In our day, all the paths of the Lord to us are mercy before we receive His Love, or Him, into our heart for salvation in the new covenant.   Mercy is all of God’s activity to us, for us, which is external to our hearts.  Mercy is any work of God to or on a person out side of the person’s heart!

Grace is the move, the work, any activity of God’s Love, God, His Spirit in the heart of man.  When we say the word Grace, we are always referring to some work of God in a person’s heart.  You can see from Isaiah and Psalms above there was no Grace in the Old Testament, except in Jesus, for he was born with the Spirit of God in him.  AND, grace is not God’s unmerited favor!!!!  That is a useless lie of the devil to cover over, block out God’s great grace, work of His Love in the heart of mankind.  Grace, the work of God’s Love, Spirit of Christ, Holy Spirit, Jesus or whatever you want to call God, is what forgives our sins, creates in us our new heart , puts His Spirit in us which results in us becoming a CHILD OF GOD! Ezekial 36:26 and Galatians 4:6-7. The devil hates Jesus and what He did for us so much that He has taught all (99%) of Christians to say grace is God’s unmerited favor to keep them from referencing any great work of God in mankind’s heart.

Charity: The devil hates Jesus so much he has also blinded our spiritual leaders to the great work of His Love in and through His children’s hearts to share, help or minister to another person or persons. So, charity is the joint effort or work of God’s Spirit (grace) in a child of God’s heart, through the person and then, both, God and man, going together to minister to someone else. Charity is the joint effort of the work of God (grace) in and through His children to others, whether they be a Christian in need or a non-Christian.  The joy of seeing God’s presence when I  am witnessing or ministering in other ways to someone is such a joy and comfort.  It is like Moses in Hebrews 11:27, “By faith (hearing and accepting God’s Word, Christ) he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the King: for he endured, AS SEEING HIM WHO IS INVISIBLE.”  It is so great to see the presence of the Lord working with me in things He has asked me to do.  The devil does everything he can to block, confuse, any activity that would lead people to discussing the true changed heart that comes from the work of grace in a person’s heart and then the work of God in and through a Christian’s heart jointly reaching out to others.  Charity is actually another expression for the Apostle Paul’s statement in Galatians 5:6, “…but faith which worketh by love.”   Faith, we accept God’s Word when He speaks to us, His Words are Spirit, so we accept the Spirit of the Words into our heart, we obey the Words spoken to us, and when we go to fulfill the Words, if we go with the “right attitude” God will be going with us and in us to perform and act of charity.

Simple Christian Words Necessary for Understanding Bible Faith

Faith – Faith is the word used to express that a person has heard God’s Living Word, Christ, and has opened their heart and received Christ, the Living Word into their heart. Rom 10:17, Ps 119:9, Heb 3:12-19.

Unbelief – Unbelief is the word used to express that a person has heard God’s Living Word, Christ, and has refused to receive Christ, the Living Word into their heart. Heb 3:12-19, and Heb 4:2.

Belief – Belief is the intellectual point when you know you have heard God’s Pure Word, and at that time you are responsible to choose to accept God’s Living Word, Christ, into your heart or reject His Word and refuse to accept His Word into your heart.  Belief comes first, then the choice to accept or reject is our choice.

Trust – Trust is do you have the confidence in God enough to accept God’s Word, even tho many times it may seem strange, like in 2 Chronicles 20 when God told Jehoshaphat to march out before three armies and watch the victory.  Do you trust God to help you lead a devotional or teach a class.

Hope – Hope it the desire for some future event: such as, a healing, job, protection, etc.

Victory – Victory represents the satisfaction of the hoped outcome or some other unexpected successful outcome.

All men do not have faith – Deut 32:20, Mark 4:40, 2 Thess 3:2  Only people who hear, accept and receive His Word in their heart have faith.  Christians are in unbelief when they hear God’s call to teach, preach or give a devotional and they reject His Word.  They are still Christians but for that area of their life they are in unbelief and will suffer for it.  People who hear and reject receiving His Word are in unbelief.   See my videos on faith.

Difference between Democrat and Republican Parties

Democrats and Republicans are very different even though through the years they have been on opposite sides of the same subjects several times. It would be impossible to pick one specific time in our history and say that either party truly reflected the basic belief of their party. Each party has led our country into wars, increase our taxes, and have stepped in to financially bail-out failing areas of our economy. Members of both parties realize we must have a certain amount of defense and a peaceful relationship with other countries. The defining difference between the two parties which has been the same throughout the years is the relationship of the personal responsibility of the individual verses the responsibility of the government. The Democrats believe they should increase the taxes of productive areas and individuals to spread the income to less productive areas which the Democrats determine are necessary in our society. Republicans believe that minimum taxes should be collected to maintain a basic governmental service which allows the individuals the opportunity to build a nation which responds to and meets the needs determined by how the individuals spend their money for required basic services and recreation. For example, the Republicans would tend to leave the Fine Arts development to individuals and private organizations contributing their time and finances without governmental assistance. The Democrats would take up more taxes with the intent of developing the Arts to the level they thought was appropriate for our nation. The difference in Democrats and Republicans is that the Democrats want to use taxes to decide and develop the areas they think our country needs; whereas, the Republicans want to have less taxes and a smaller government to allow the individuals to decide which areas of our country need to be developed as a result of where citizens spend their money for services and entertainment. Quite often it appears that Democrats are buying votes with tax money because the people with the lower incomes who, in most cases, benefit from the government assistance in underdeveloped areas tend to vote for Democrats so they will continue the assistance. The Democrats want a government funded society, and the Republicans want citizen funded society based on individual responsibility.
